CORRECTION! and to clear up any confusion: This event is being held in Crystal Springs, not Brookhaven. The poster was in Brookhaven. I swear, you CANNOT make this stuff up. This is a poster in the window of a convenience store right off of I-55 in Brookhaven, Mississippi. Who needs computers when you have a working knowledge of a Sharpie and poster paper from Walgreens, right? I mean, nothing says "Good clean fun 4 everyone" like a swimsuit contest and female oil wresting. I'm seriously tempted to grab my largest belt buckle, forget everything I ever learned about racial tolerance and join who's-who in rednecks on June 7 near Stuckey's. Astonishingly, I could not find one misspelling in the whole thing. I'm sure it was thoroughly proofed before heading to production printing. What is funny is it was surrounded by other promotions and advertising and I took the time to read it, drag out my camera (and change the lens!) and share it with the world.
