Apparently, celibacy is an impossible pursuit for actress Natalie Portman. According to gossipsauce.com, playwright John Patrick Shanley spilled the beans on why Portman ultimately wasn't cast in the film adaptation of his play Doubt."Well, we asked Natalie Portman, and Natalie was very interested but kept saying she had a problem. And we finally nailed down as to what the problem was. She basically said she didn't understand celibacy."
Habit-loving Amy Adams was eventually cast in the role and as for Natalie, we hear ya on that. Preaching to the choir here.
